Tamyara Brown has been writing since she was eleven-year old and has been her source of therapy. She is a mother of six beautiful children and two grandchildren. Tamyara admits her journey has not always been easy. Life has dished out more than its share of pain and hurt she has has survived everything from homelessness to being a breast Cancer Survivor. One day it was her fiancé Lloyd and her children who said she needed to share her writing with the world. She took their advice and began sharing her work on Facebook and Writer’s café.
She attended Long Island University and worked as a Customer Service for several years. She decided to take a leave of absence and care for her son who is diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome and Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis. It was then she wrote her debut novel Fat Girl Vigilante which will be released and Blue’s Treasure both
In addition she has her very own Blog “TAMLUVSTOWRITE” which focuses on a journey of sharing stories of love, life, the good and the bad. Sharing hope and inspiration that life will and can get better. She hopes by using her personal stories and poems that she can reach out to those thinking there is no sun in those dark clouds. She also has an erotica Blog titled “Butterfly Chronicles”. The Blog that dares to tell stories of sensual, sexy and beautiful women who are plus size and the men who desire them and love them, she took an interest being that she is a plus size woman she wanted to tell that not every man wants a size six. She has a short story and a poem that has been published in a Domestic Violence Anthology VOICES BEHIND THE TEARS, will be release in October 2011. She will also be apart of the Documentary and her poetry apart of “Homeless Cry” anthology. She also volunteer her story of Love has no waist size to the American Cancer Society anthology.
