About Me

About the Author: Tommie Scott is former gang member and now born-again believer in Jesus Christ. He is an author, advocate for at-risk youth, a chaplain for the Las Vegas Community Gang Task Force, and a dedicated witness and soldier for Christ. Tommie is a native of Southern California. He grew up in poverty and was introduced to drugs, alcohol, and gangs as a pre-teen. The juvenile justice system, and later the California Department of Corrections, became his home. By God’s grace, Tommie was introduced to Jesus Christ through a faithful Christian prison ministry. Just like Paul’s dramatic conversion on the road to Damascus, God changed Tommie’s heart and life forever during a prison Bible study. Tommie is now living and doing good works in Christ in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife, Rache’t, and their five children.

What's the last book you've read?

Physics of the Impossible by Dr. Michio Kaku

What's your favorite book and why?

The Autobiography of Malcolm X, by Alex Haley

This book was so riveting and inspirational because it came at a point in my life when I was struggling to discover who I was, not just as an African-American but as a human being.  The book strips away the myth of Malcolm, showing the very real human side of the man.  The biggest inspiration for me was Malcolm's sense of self worth, self reliance and his never ending quest to growth intellectually as well as spiritually.

What's the last book you've read?

Lord of the Rings

What's your favorite book and why?

The Adventures of Monkey (Chinese lore)

The book series has always been a favorite of mine since I was a child. They are very entertaining and unapologetic when describing man's nature towards each other. The stories also have a great message about mistakes and redemption.

About Me

Untamed is an urban fiction author working for One Karma Publishing Company. She lives in her home state of Georgia.

Untamed first found a love of writing as a young child through her love of reading. It was the novel entitled, Coming of Age by Lorri Hewitt that truly inspired Untamed and became the flame that ignited her introduction to the pen and pad.

Later, she began to develop her writing talents as a novelist due to her own personal life experiences. About Me

The name I was born with is Gerald Robert Johnson, Jr. givento me by my Mother’s mom because she said I was the spitting image of myFather, and even to this day I hear that… a lot. I was a quick study as achild, my parents had me reading and writing by the time I was 3 and I've beenhooked since then. As time progressed, I fell victim to my imagination, as asmart loner kid I spent a lot of time with pen and pad and I would write outthe little adventures I had with my toys. Just from that you can tell thattelling me to go to my room was not a bad thing

By elementary, teachers were constantly commending myparents for my love reading and writing. By the time I was in the fifth grade Iwas reading on a near college level and I was writing short stories justbecause I enjoyed it. By the time I was out of the eighth grade going to highschool, came up with the notion of writing a book, but the question was onwhat? High school I got lucky to have 4 years with 4 English teachers who keptme Motivated to write… they couldn’t stand how I wrote in longhand but theyalways commended me on my words. I finished my first fully written book when Iwas 16 and in the 11th grade; I wish I still had that one.

I am a Storyteller… a Minstrel ofWords… I love being able to sit at my laptop and let the stories play around inmy head like a movie and type them out. To feel the flow of the action and thenbe able to articulate what I see in my head out so that others can share in onthe ride I’m on. I am... but a meager Writer... I am an enigma with words thatI find so very easy to conform into patterns of word play that conjoin tocreate a menagerie of thoughts and scenes upon scenes in a fantasy ofcollaborative ideas and dreams to complete... a Story... I am…a Writer and itis what I feel I was born to do.

What's the last book you've read?

Her Mad Hatter by Marie Hall

What's your favorite book and why?

The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown

The why? the book is a very easy read but what gets your attention is his attentions to details that keeps Prof. Langdon forever on his toes and moving forward about the symbolisms of Religion thats changed over the course of history into the religions we now know as "true" ... the book is a complete page turner
